Jeff Loy was born in 1947 in Sheffield England. His family were zealously religious, the outcome of which is reflected in his writings.

"Don't look for me in church, I wont be there."

An actor, writer, broadcaster and free- lance lecturer, he describes himself as semi-retired. He is the author of GOD WORRA YORKSHIREMAN. Only a small book ' but at this time in it's sixth reprint. It draws attention to the often, huge gulf between God and the church. Laced with Yorkshire humour and vernacular, it includes illustrations by artist and cartoonist Frank Canning.
